Building a High-Performing Culture
What leaders reward (and what they tolerate) is the culture. Learn how to build the culture you actually want.
Your leadership, elevated.
I work with C-Suite Executives and Business Owners to help you sharpen your judgment, lead more effectively, and significantly improve your business performance.
Lisa Christen is an internationally recognized Executive Advisor. For over a decade, she has worked with senior leaders across Europe, the Middle East, and the US, and today advises a select number of C-Suite leaders and executive teams through long-term advisory relationships. Her work is grounded in the neuroscience of high performance and focuses on the patterns and decisions that separate those who deliver under pressure from those who falter.
Spear's named her a Best Performance Coach of 2026. She is a Professional Fellow of the Institute of Coaching at McLean, Harvard Medical School, and a member of the invitation-only Forbes Coaches Council, and she lectures at the University of St. Gallen and speaks at leadership events worldwide, including in Davos during the World Economic Forum.
Before her advisory practice, Lisa held roles at Sony, AIG, and the U.S. Department of Defense, and she holds an MBA. Her writing has appeared in Forbes, CNN Money, and Thrive Global, and elsewhere.
Originally from New York, Lisa now calls Zug, Switzerland home. She enjoys balancing her work life with her home life, including coming home to a loving husband, two inspiring young daughters, neon running shoes, and an overflowing bookshelf.

You thrive in uncertainty.
When things are uncertain, you keep moving while others wait, and you see the openings they miss.
You stay steady under pressure.
When the stakes are highest, you keep a clear head, and you hold that level over the long run.
You become more influential.
You get your point across and move people to action, with or without the formal authority to rely on.
You decide, and you move.
When the right answer isn't obvious, you decide and commit, instead of turning it over in your head for weeks.
You navigate the politics.
You see the real power and what's going unsaid, and you move through it without losing the room or yourself.
Your team steps up.
The people around you take more on, decide more for themselves, and need you in the room less.

Executive advisory is a long-term partnership that helps a leader sharpen their judgment, lead more effectively, and improve business performance. Engagements start at twelve months. Lisa stays actively involved by being present at the meetings where real decisions get made, helping you prepare for big events like Board Meetings or keynotes, and stays a direct line when important topics come up.
Coaching helps you reach your own answers through skilled questioning. Advisory includes that and adds direct counsel: Lisa gives you her read on the decision in front of you and stays a resource when you need one. She has been advising senior leaders for over a decade.
Lasting change comes from working at the root of what's holding you back, not from a one-off intervention. Lisa's perspective stays with you across the year as new habits get practiced on real situations, so when a challenge arises you have what you need to meet it.
The deepest and most lasting growth comes from a real relationship over time. As Lisa comes to know you and your world, the work goes further and faster, and the results build on each other. In practice, engagements start at twelve months and often run well beyond.
Yes. Alongside one-to-one advisory, Lisa works with a leader and their whole leadership team as one system, so a group of strong individuals operates as one. Team engagements run over the same long-term horizon, starting at twelve months.
